TheraTogs Training
In many respects, clinicians already know how to use TheraTogs -- its garments and strapping applications simply mirror the manual positioning and alignment therapy that they provide to their patients on a regular basis. (This is what we mean by "send your hands home" with TheraTogs.)
We also make sure that every system is well-documented and its use is well-illustrated, either via DVD, print documentation, or both.
Many clinicians, however, prefer to gain some additional experience or training before making TheraTogs a standard of care in their practice. To support that preference, we provide several options:
- You can attend courses taught by Beverly Cusick, MS PT COF, our founder and the inventor of TheraTogs. Our partner company, Progressive GaitWays, LLC, offers a variety of educational opportunities and resources. See the GaitWays Courses page for a full and current list of available courses taught by Beverly Cusick.
- You can request a professional inservice session to introduce the principles and applications of TheraTogs to a group of clinicians. These inservices are provided by our regional sales and/or clinical support staff, and are usually scheduled at least a week in advance.
- You can take private tutorials in pediatric foot and ankle management, and serial casting techniques, from Beverly Cusick. See the Progressive GaitWays course website for details.
- You can purchase training videos in assessment techniques essential to designing TheraTogs modalities.
- You can review training articles written by Beverly Cusick, and republished with the permission of the NDTA:
