I have found the TheraTogs sensory system to be a great asset in treating children with proprioceptive and tactile processing problems, especially those who also have eczema. The children who wear the suit have improved in their abilities to participate with their families and other treatments they attend.

Sensory Integration / SPD System

The Sensory Integration / Sensory Processing Disorder (SI/SPD) System provides the compressive type of proprioceptive input that has been shown to help children with SI dysfunction or SPD issues.
The SI/SPD System Provides:
The cozy, foam-lined, breathable TankTop applies gentle compression to the torso to enhance tactile and proprioceptive body awareness.
The similarly cozy Hipster provides more body awareness of the hips and thighs, and serves as an anchor for securing the TankTop and for attaching compression straps if further “grounding” is needed.
An abdominal support and “clip” strap that holds the compression straps against the body. |
Indications / Applications
The SI/SPD System is designed specially for children with issues related to Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD , such as hypersensitivity, difficulty in focusing attention, holding still, and coordinating movement.
