  • Male 4 y, 11 mo with spastic triplegic CP
  • GMFCS Level III
  • Thoracic kyphosis, shoulder protraction, lumbar lordosis, increased anterior pelvic tilt
  • Excessive knee flexion (R), (L)
  • Excessive medial thigh/foot angle
  • Shortened pectorals

TheraTogs Uses

Wearing history:
6 months @ 4-6 hours/day for 7 days/week @ 75% compliance
Strapping used:
Straight and split straps, limb cuffs on legs
Improvements noted:
Patient's balance improves secondary to better shoulder alignment affecting hand placement on walker. No longer pulling in (L) leg across midline to cause tripping.
Issues noted:
 
Product notes:
Make them more breathable -- the child began to not tolerate wearing them when it got hot.
