AtaxiTog System
 |
Now Available in Adult Sizes! The AtaxiTog System features a new design of the TheraTogs TankTop with long 'anchor flaps' that connect directly to the thigh and hip of the Hipster.
The anchor flap design offers three key advantages:
- Enhances proprioceptive input by automatically providing joint compression through the torso and hips.
- Adds postural and hip stability without strapping.
- Simplifies the TheraTogs donning and doffing process for patients who only need to address issues of stability, balance, and staggering gait caused by ataxia.
AtaxiTog Indications The target population for AtaxiTog applications exhibits balancing difficulties relative to cerebellar dysfunction, whithout additional musculoskeletal problems. The TheraTogs AtaxiTog system can be an effective modality for the management of balance problems in gait related to: |
- Cerebellar ataxia - static or progressive
- Attention Deficity Disorder (ADD), responsive to deep compression
- Balance loss with Multiple Sclerosis
- Inattention due to Autism, responsive to deep compression
AtaxiTog System Contents The AtaxiTog System comes fully configured with:
- One Elongated TankTop
- One Hipster
- Size-appropriate tabs
- A marker set to assure correct panel placement at home
- Instructional materials for donning, fitting and strapping applications.

Note: the AtaxiTog also comes in a strapless configuration for ease of use in ataxic-specific applications. If needed, any TheraTogs straps can be ordered at an additional cost. AtaxiTog System Sizes (New sizes in bold)
